Verantwortung & Haltbarkeit

 

Wie lange das Ergebnis hält, hängt stark von Untergrund, Vorbereitung, Nutzung und Pflege ab. Auf diese Faktoren haben wir keinen direkten Einfluss – deshalb können wir hierfür keine Gewähr übernehmen.

Viele Flächen, die unsere Dienstleistungspartner umgesetzt haben, halten jedoch bereits seit Jahren problemlos. In der Praxis wird – je nach Beanspruchung – häufig nach etwa 4–6 Jahren ein erneuter Anstrich sinnvoll, um die Fläche optisch wieder aufzufrischen.

Damit du das bestmögliche Ergebnis erzielst, haben wir dir hier die wichtigsten Hinweise zusammengestellt:

🔧 Untergrund & Vorbereitung

 

 

  • Die Fläche muss sauber, trocken und tragfähig sein.

  • Keine Rückstände von Staub, Schmutz, Moos, Grünbelag oder Laub.

  • Keine alten Öle, Imprägnierungen, Ausblühungen oder sonstige haftungsstörende Stoffe.

  • Wir empfehlen die gründliche Reinigung mit einem professionellen Hochdruckreiniger.

  • Die Steinfarbe ist für saugfähige Betonsteine entwickelt.

  • Enthalten Betonsteine sehr glatte Kiesel- oder Natursteinanteile, kann die Haltbarkeit an diesen Stellen reduziert sein, da die Farbe dort nicht ausreichend einziehen kann. Dies gilt auch für Betonplatten mit sehr dichtem, schlecht saugendem oder natursteinähnlichem Vorsatz. 

  • Anwendung auf anderen Untergründen erfolgt auf eigene Verantwortung und sollte immer vorher getestet werden.

 

 

 

 

🚶 Nutzung & Belastung

 


Stark frequentierte oder stark beanspruchte Flächen können die Haltbarkeit reduzieren, z.B.:

 

  • Viele Lenk- & Bremsbewegungen (PKW, Fahrräder etc.)

  • Kratzen, Scheuern oder abrasive Belastung

  • Stark frequentierte Treppen (z.B. Mehrfamilienhäuser, Gewerbe)

  • Intensive Nutzung von Hochdruckreinigern

  • Tropfkanten (z.B. bei Überdachungen ohne Regenrinne), wo Regen immer auf dieselbe Stelle tropft

Unsere Steinfarbe ist ideal für private Terrassen, Gehwege und Zufahrten mit moderater Nutzung – für stark frequentierte (gewerbliche) Flächen oder intensiv genutzte Parkplätze empfehlen wir alternative Lösungen oder vorab unbedingt eine Testfläche.

 

 

 

🌱 Pflege der Fläche

 

 

  • Regelmäßige (schonende) Reinigung erhöht die Lebensdauer. Zum Beispiel mit unserem zerogreen Grünbelagentferner.

  • Moos, Grünbelag oder verrottendes Laub sollten nicht dauerhaft auf der Fläche verbleiben.

  • Vernachlässigte Pflege kann die Haltbarkeit deutlich beeinflussen.

  • Nicht bei Regen oder drohendem Niederschlag auftragen.

  • Untergrund- und Außentemperatur beachten (z.B. ideal 10–25 °C).

  • Keine direkte, starke Sonneneinstrahlung während der Verarbeitung.

 

 

⏳ Trocknungszeiten einhalten

 

 

  • Fläche erst nach vollständiger Durchtrocknung belasten.

  • Zu frühe Nutzung kann die Haltbarkeit massiv reduzieren.

 

 

🔄 Gleichmäßiger Auftrag & Verarbeitung

 

 

Farbpigmente können sich während der Lagerung am Gebindeboden absetzen.

Vor der Verarbeitung muss die Steinfarbe daher sehr gründlich aufgerührt werden, bis sie vollständig:

 

  • homogen

  • klumpenfrei

  • farblich einheitlich

 


ist. Unzureichendes Durchmischen kann zu Farbabweichungen oder verminderter Deckkraft führen.


Nicht zu dünn und nicht zu dick auftragen – die Farbe sollte porentief in den Stein einziehen und diesen vollständig bedecken.


  • Überschüssiges Material vermeiden.

  • Werkzeuge sauber halten.

  • Angrenzende Flächen sind sorgfältig zu schützen


 

Geeignete Werkzeuge:

 

 

  • Rolle (für größere Flächen), beliebt für den Außeneinsatz sind Lammfell-Rollen

  • Pinsel oder kleine Roller für Fugen, porige oder unebene Steine

  • Airless-Spritzgerät (bei größeren Flächen möglich)

Our stone paint was specially manufactured for the purpose of coating floors outdoors, so it is vapor-permeable and does not seal the building material. 7. Can I clean the colored surface with a high-pressure cleaner?
Intensive high-pressure cleaning should be avoided, even if the stone color can usually withstand household high-pressure cleaners, the durability of the stone color will be affected. We recommend aftercare with zerogreen® green algae remover with long-term protection or zerogreen® green algae remover turbo.
8. Will my surface look painted over after application?
No, the stone color takes on the surface structure of the stones and does not form an unnatural layer on the stones. Take a look at our reference images.
9. Can I also use zerogreen ® stone paint indoors?
The zerogreen ® stone paint was developed primarily for outdoor use. It can be used indoors, but we recommend testing the surface in an inconspicuous area first.
10. Will the stone colour wear off faster if there is car traffic?
Yes, absolutely. Our stone paint is very robust, but we do not recommend it for areas subject to exceptionally heavy traffic, such as parking lots or areas with a lot of traffic. However, our paint can generally be used for private driveways without any concerns. If in doubt, a test should always be carried out on an area subject to heavy traffic.
